I'm a great admirer of people and initiatives like this:

www.trashpaddler.com/

But I must admit I'm not such a hero myself. I meet a lot of trash in the rivers: bikes, washing machines, full garbage bags, ... But I often find that stuff either too gross to take on board, or it's just too large, or too much, or lying too deep, or ... I can always find some excuse, also because I'm there to paddle, not to collect garbage. I often take out simple items and throw them on land, hoping that the real garbage man will pick them up some day.

How do you deal with trash in the waters?

Yes, big respect to the trashpaddler

No problem at sea, It will end at the coastline which will be cleaned, specially in the summer

Unfortunately it's not that easy. Those plastic islands (or garbage patches) in the oceans are huge...
The size of the Pacific Garbage Patch is estimated somewhere between the size of Germany and France together, and twice the size of the continental US:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Pacific_garbage_patch

today the newspaper said that eating tuna or salmon etc more than twice a week is unhealthy because of this - that used to be healthy stuff to eat...

 Oeps, that is new for me!
Knowing this I will bring garbage to the shore and put it in a garbage collector!
