I'm new to Playak and I'm in the market for a new kayak. I would ideally like something that can handle some white water and also be good on flat water. I know this is somewhat of a tall order. I've read that the LiquidLogic Remix XP is great, but I'm wondering if there is anything similar that's not quite as much money. I'm wanting to invest in a good boat of my own that I'll love and use. Currently I have a WaterQuest Aruba, but I'm about to sell it and get some $ to upgrade. I'm new to the world of kayaking and any advice/recommendations would be fantastic!

I'm not that familiar with crossover kayaks, but I'm a real fan of Dagger boats.
Maybe this is also an option (if you can still find one) : playak.com/article.php?sid=1744,

The Pryanha Fusions are particularly suited for this. They even come with a skeg.

When looking at crossover boats you really need to consider which element you will paddle in most often. For WW the LL XP or the new Wave Sport Ethos are the ticket. If you will paddle flatwater more then you would want to go with a Pyranaha Fusion, Dagger Axis or the least expensive option is probably the Dagger Approach.

Welcome to Playak and the kayaking community. In the end just make sure you get out on the water and have fun:)
