This has some huge potential if it's scaled up a bit:

looks like fun, but a bit shallow...

also added the vid to playak videos:

btw would it be better to have a steep wall at the end of the channel, so that the wave would reflect straight back?

Something like a hole would work better, but the only problem with it is getting the water back to the top. A 1-2 foot ledge with enough flow would be plenty, and make it a higher CFS through the same spot and it could turn into a wave. Almost like one of those machines you put in a pool to give you resistance, but on a larger scale, and with some vertical drop to make the feature retentive. www.endlesspools.com/endlesspool/index.html

They can create waves up to 3km long at the moment. So....quite long!

could they not just go to a white water centre eg: CIWW? They are so much fun and you can go on as long as you want as its in a ring and not a line..just a thought

alot ofpeople (especially in the states) dont have the option to go to a WW center seeing as there isnt always a park nearby. i feel like they are more common in the U.K. (not too mention usually a closer proximity due to the size of the country) but that might just be me.
