Right as im missing my spanishfly i am considering either buying a kayak shell (420, 70 GFORce )ans seat etc, or converting my mates dom 44 or my seven O into a c1.

Basically which boat would be better as a c1?

Just wondering: is it possible to buy new kayak shells without outfitting? That might be a cheaper alternative to buying a new boat and being stuck with a seat etc. that you don't need anyway (if you're converting the shell to a C-1).

Where do you buy such empty shells? How much do they aprroximately cost?

Yes it's possible. My local dealer does that. The problem for you is that he's located in the south of France :ask:

they are roughly £100-200 cheaper but your best bet is to ask at your local shop!

Back to the topic what boat would make a good c1 out of the 4twenty or 7o or should i just get a robson twintip c1?
