Feb 6 Social Instagram As a SUP community, we ove to support a good cause and here is a great one you all can participate: Rob Rojas ( @robrojas a professional SUP paddler) is doing a 24 hour paddle in Dana Point, California to kick off 2015 for OCEAN OF HOPE. His goal is to raise funds and awareness for cancer patients and their families who need access to guidance, education, support and most importantly second opinion grants that can save lives. He will paddle out at 7 am on February 7, 2015 at NAC (Newport Aquatic Center) in Newport Beach; I will be doing laps until 3pm then I will paddle down to Dana Point and finish 24 hours later at 7am on February 8 at Baby Beach in Dana Point Harbor. According to his words: “Cold, dark, wet, rainy, windy, it doesn't matter. I know that a little discomfort is just the tiniest reminder of what a cancer patient goes through. This paddle is dedicated to the sea of people affected by cancer”. Thank you for your support of any kind, one day it could be one of us, who will be in need… More info at http://www.active.com/donate/oceanofhope2015/robrojas24hourpaddle (link in my bio)
