May 8 Social Werner FB Josh Riccio, team athlete, won the SUP stock class this past weekend at the 2018 Paddle IMUA Race on Maui for the 2nd year in a row! The wind was pretty light, but there was just enough on Saturday to create small bumps to help make the course a bit faster. According to Josh 'I used my 86 square inch Grand Prix paddle to take the win on Saturday, to me this paddle is awesome for downwinding because the paddle catch and release makes it easy to sprint when attacking/connecting bumps, the blade shape and blade buoyancy makes bracing on the paddle really smooth, and the flex pattern in the grand prix is really forgiving on the body making it a great choice for long distances.'
