The Raven is a stable and reliable entry level surfski. The hull design is not as unforgiving (round) as most racing skis, providing extra stability for a beginner. The length ensures a fast ride, while the width provides a stable yet responsive ski in various sea conditions. The Raven is designed as an entry level surfski. Its length provides good speed and its low volume ensures enough stability to feel comfortable on the ocean.

The reliability of the Raven makes it very appealing to a novice for recreational paddling. The extra buoyancy in the bow prevents nose diving.

The Raven is not designed around racing, but its good length and responsive characteristics ensure a great base to learn from.
