Danny has been working with Werner Paddles for 2 years as an in-field technical representative doing clinics and teaching up and down the eastern sea-board and throughout the Midwest. “Danny did such an incredible job educating paddlers and retailers about the Werner product and paddling in general that we had to have him full-time.” stated Tracy Clapp, Sales Manager of Werner Paddles; “Danny will offer stellar support and service for his accounts. Danny is no stranger to the paddling industry. He comes from Impex Kayaks where he managed the North American operations, overseeing everything from sales to marketing. He has an extensive touring and whitewater kayaking background and has BCU and ACA accreditation. His new position with Werner Paddles will have him based out of Asheville, North Carolina along with Marketing Manager, Christie Dobson. Danny will be making quarterly trips to Werner Paddles in Sultan, Washington. However, he will be spending the majority of his time in the Northeast, Midwest and Eastern Canada.
“I took the job with Werner because I felt like I was part of a family”, Danny said, “This is probably the most paddler oriented team I’ve been associated with. I am excited to reach the core market, share my knowledge, service and educate my dealers and do what I love – teach kayaking”.
