Spot Info

What is it like
The wave in Rheinfelden is caused by constructions works. There are remains of an old construction wall in the river, and this creates a great spot when the water levels are good. The thing is fairly new, so we don’t really know yet what the best level is, and the wave keeps changing. At the time of writing however, the wave seems to be in quite often, and since it’s in Switzerland (at the German border), it makes for a great training spot for the worlds in Thun later this month (August 2009).
