What's it like
It is a kayak run on the Great Miami river. It is about a Class 1 paddle.
At the beginning there is a wave train crossing from river right to river left. Non of the waves are very sticky.
Then you paddle some flatwater (interesting when the river is high), and then to the Blue Rock Bridge. This is a wave in big water, and you may be be able to pull some moves.
Then on to Death Hole (running joke - it is complety safe), a big hole above 2000cfs nothing there below it though. On river right there is a huge eddie.
How to get there
Put in: Heritage park on east river road.
Take out: Dravo athletic field, east river road.
Both have signs (see also the Kayak World Map).
Locals
Boaters and fisherman on the river. At the take out there will be some soccer moms at Dravo field.
