If you are shy and/or like to stay under the radar, this helmet ain't for you. The look and size of this "military" helmet attracts the attention of everybody on the river and make you look somewhere between "Bad Boy" and a total fool, I have never b... [login for full review text]

Mid-40s hobby paddler on whitewater (class III) and on the sea (mainly day-trips), about 120 days per year on the water. 1,96m (6'6") and 115kg (260 lbs) with size 49 (GB 13, US 15) feet.

Pros / The Good

- looks cool
- tough
- very good protection
- covers the ears
- reasonable price
- fast transatlantic delivery
- complete fitting set

Cons / The Bad

- big and bulky under water
- turns with the stream under water
- straps too thin

I forgot to add: It took about two weeks to get the helmet shipped from Florida to France. I ordered by mid november 2009 and got it around the end of the same month.
